So my husband, daughter and I had the privilege of visiting the cute little beach town of Cayucos, California. Actually, there are a string of little towns in central-coast california that I love- such as San Luis Obispo, Pismo Beach, etc. I can very much see myself retiring to a place like that someday. Anyway, my in-laws (who thankfully feel more like family than inlaws!) live down there in a cottage by the beach. Yes, I am jealous, but at least I can come out and forget the dead of winter for while.
