Okay, so these came out in 2004. But who cares. I still love them! Yes, they’re “pantone plates“! (if you are unfamiliar with pantone, click here to learn more) I first saw these in a magazine, I can’t remember which one, but I liked them enough that I ripped out the page and put it in my inspiration file. Pantone colors have a special place in my heart, because I first fell in love with color when I was little, hanging around at my dad’s office (he’s in the label industry) playing with his pantone swatch books, fanning out all the colors, admiring all the variations. Anyway, these pieces would be perfect on any designer’s table, or for that matter, on anyone’s table who just loves color- and appreciates getting the exact shade they want!
